Summary of Experience Co-founder, Energy Associates International (EAI) (2001 - present) * EAI is a Nevada LLC that owns US Patent # 6,758,150 and # 9,394,484, as well as all of the other intellectual property for the Thermal Recovery Unit (TRU). * EAI designed, engineered, and permitted the "turn-key" development of the TRU from concept, through demonstration to the commercial implementation of an Activated Carbon Regeneration Facility at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. * The TRU converts organic materials to biogas, recoverable waste heat, steam and salable carbon in an environmentally safe, regulatory compliant, continuous process. The TRU Technology is currently licensed through 2017 to a 3rd party. Product Development Collaborator, HEATech Services (2014 - present) * Collaborator in the development of the HEATech ZipChar Transportable Pyrolysis Unit. ZipChar Transportable is a mobile processing system that can be towed from site-to-site which safely and continuously converts organic materials from agriculture and forestry to Biochar and recoverable waste heat. * ZipChar Transportable is designed to comply with the California Air Resources Board, local air districts and the Portable Equipment Registration Program. (CA) The Collaboration Team includes Dr. Milt McGiffen from UC Riverside, Michael Wittman of Blue Sky Biochar and Bill Petrich of Western Resource Management. * Participate in research protocols with Western Resource Management that address macro, meso and micro pore structure development in Activated Carbon and Regenerated Activated Carbon by the ZipChar Stationary Pyrolysis Unit. Associate, Gonneville Inc. & Emergency Water Foundation (2014 - present) * Gonneville is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that concentrates in the sale of commercial and industrial equipment to the governmental marketplace. * Users include Federal, State, County and Municipal Agencies, Native American and Prime Contractors through the GSA Schedule, California Multiple Award Schedule (CMAS) and Texas Multiple Award Schedule. (TXMAS) Past Director, President & CEO, International Tech Corp (2008 - 2013) * Developed the International Tech Corp Team from ground-zero which was responsible for the siting, permitting, regulatory considerations, utility / infrastructure development, installation, start-up and the compliant day-to-day operation of the Thermal Recovery Unit (TRU) located in Prineville, Oregon. * The Central Oregon Facility was established for Activated Carbon Regeneration, Thermal Recycling, Resource Recovery and Biochar Production in conjunction with Western Resource Management of Bend, Oregon.
