For over 20+ years I have worked in the Oil & Gas and Power Industries 8 years specifically as a Business Development Manager. The past 3 years of which was for ABS Electric Group Ltd., as the Vice President Business Development. During my time at ABS Electric Group Ltd., I travelled extensively identifying company problems and seeking out the most advanced technologies to resolve their issues adding value to their existing projects and equipment. During my time with ABS Electric Group, I was responsible for managing current accounts and building a new client base. Through my experience, I became very successful at recognizing and identifying new business opportunities. I spearheaded the growth and development of ABS Electric Group by developing a new high voltage division while advancing and developing future business growth and expansion. While building one of Western Canada's elite high voltage company's at the time, I expanded ABS Internationally to assist with developing nations through training in high voltage to meet Canadian standards. While launching ABS Electric into a high voltage division, I also lead the team in successfully establishing a new green power division. I have been involved in many large projects over my career involving substantial dollar values. I was personally responsible for bringing together two cross border companies, URS Flint and WJ Williams, which was a part of the Keystone Pipeline project. Throughout my travels, it became apparent that a need for procurement and specialized sales representation was lacking. In response to this need, I founded a procurement & specialized sales company, Sandrag Holdings Ltd. With this company, I was able to better respond to clients needs by working with engineers to design tools and solutions customized to the clients needs, or by seeking out unique technological advancements new to market, and am able to find difficult products that most companies can't procure. Some of my latest customized solutions include new generators, water powered generators, and new road stabilization for which I help design and implement. A range of products I have expertise in include: downhole tool assemblies and drilling, wireline and fracking tools as some examples. I have been very successful at procuring products from North America for the GCC Region, India and Asian markets at cost savings to the companies of up to fifty percent. I successfully introduced new technology solutions to oil and gas companies in these areas after working with Canadian Government groups such as EDC, International and Intergovernmental Relations, as well as our trade commissioners, foreign affairs groups, and the ambassadors to the GCC region. My focus has been largely in the GCC Region, India and Asian markets and I have an excellent understanding of how the business cycle works in these regions. I was able to bring better-suited products, at lower cost, to the GCC region, India and Asian markets, while also providing them with better access to the North American oil and gas products and customized solutions. I have been able to cut clients costs up to 50% with new technologies which improve the life of their equipment and products. This has been realized in areas such as oil and gas products, government solutions to new stabilization technology for roads and well pads, as well as cost savings on the facility pads.
