We trained and provided on site installation managers and factory trained crews to install high end products all over the United States, ( From Maine to California ) • Developed industry Installation Protocols and Disclaimers to reduce losses from call backs that came as a result of improper field installations. • Reduced losses from call backs by 12 to 15% of project sales price. • Over eight years we saved our Manufacturers over $5,625,000.00 on $45,000,000.00 of sales. Organized a separate company in this same time period, Chapman Construction of New York, so that we could employ Union Labor to provide our services in New York City, Boston, Chicago and on other Union only projects. NOTE: Our firm and I received recognition from the City of New York and Mayor Rudy Giuliani for being first responders on September 11, 2001. C.M. Inc., New Canaan, Connecticut 1991-2005 Founder and President Changed our business model from being a labor supplier with our own employees, to that of being Construction Managers, hiring subcontractors and suppliers on a competitive bid basis, therefore, escaping the high cost of Liability and Workers Compensation associated with maintaining our own forces. We managed approximately 5 to 6 million dollars of construction in each of those years, or a total of $77,000,000.00 over 14 years. LeBlond Ltd., New Canaan, Connecticut 1979-1991 Founder and President Started this company originally to develop Speculative homes in Wilton and New Canaan, Ct. Successfully built and sold two houses in Wilton, Ct. Moved our land purchases to New Canaan and built and sold what was at that time, the first speculative home to be built and sold in Connecticut for $500,000.00, followed by the first one to be built and sold for over $1,000,000.00 in Connecticut. 1983-1991 Due to demand for high end Construction companies and General Contractors, LeBlond Ltd. adjusted our business model by hiring our own Project Managers, Site Supervisors and carpenters to work directly for Architects and Owners on custom architecturally designed new homes and large scale additions and renovations. We expanded rapidly to 60 employees and had under management an average of 8-10 million dollars of work in each of those years or approximately $72,000,000.00 over 8 years. 1977-79 Worked as Assistant Varsity Football and Wrestling Coach, Staples High School, Westport, Ct. • Fitness Instructor at Nautilus of Westport • New Canaan Lumber Co.
