I am looking for a position as a registered nurse in a facility that will allow me to provide the best quality care to patients while expanding my clinical experience and knowledge. I will be graduating from the Santa Rosa Junior College ADN program in December 2012 and I expect to take the NCLEX examination in February 2013. I will be eligible to work with an Interim Permit as early as January 2013. Over the past 4 years I have gained experience providing acute and non-acute care to patients at medical offices and hospitals both through employment and school programs. I have gained valuable experience in a variety of assessment and treatment skills including: patient assessment, triage, peripheral IV’s, administration of IV, IM and PO medications, Foley catheter insertion and management, hands on CPR, and wound care.
