I have completed 24 OFSC school projects in a 12 year period. Breaking it down that’s two school openings per year (value 220 million) I am in the process of completing the Genava Cork and Austinburg schools this August. As a construction administrator I have work w/ a number of construction managers such as R P Carpone , URS , Hammond, PCS, Heery and Scaparotti The last 3 years BSHM has recognized prior to bidding that it is beneficial to the cm and architects team to have me review the drawings for constructability and coordination of all the disciplines. I personally sit w/ the BSHM consultants , one engineer at a time and discuss my review comments to insure that the changes are incorporated into the drawings. Consultants drawings include civil , structural , mechanical , plumbing , electrical , and technology . I also review BSHM construction documents . The review process is on going during the CD phase of the project. On the OSFC (Ohio School facilities Commission) projects, the construction manager’s on site staff communicates directly with me on construction issues.
