Florida Institute of Technology   Certifications: Engineer in Training (EIT) Designation October 1987 State of Virginia (Fundamentals of Engineering)   Career Experience:   Naval Architect 3 April 1992 – February 2012 Ingalls Shipbuilding Pascagoula, MS Marine Manufacturing & Services ·         I am highly motivated and have worked on a plethora of tasks that are too lengthy to list all of them here. ·         Responsible for many tasks such as modification of Docking Drawings, updating Part II (a) Stability and Loading of Damage Control Book, Flooding Effect Diagrams, Liquid Loading Diagrams, Ballast Drawings, Tank Capacity Curves, Tank Sounding Tables on in service CG47 Class Cruisers and LPD17 Class Amphibious Assault Ships.  In the past, such tasks as responsible for generation of Docking Drawings, Part II (a) Stability and Loading of Damage Control Book, Flooding Effect Diagrams, Liquid Loading Diagrams, Tank Capacity Curves, Tank Sounding Tables, Inclining Experiments and Inclining Experiment  Reports on New Construction CG47 Class Cruiser, DDG51  Class Destroyers  and  LHD5 Class Amphibious Assault Ships. ·         Travel to multiple naval bases around the country to perform Inclining Experiments, Deadweight Surveys and generate Inclining Experiment or Deadweight Survey Reports. ·         Reviewed Ship Change Documents (SCD)s as well as Liaison Action Records (LAR)s for response with generation of Design corrections and Reverse Liaison Action Records where necessary. ·         Approved Ship Installation and Alteration Installation Team Drawings. ·         Worked offsite of Ingalls Shipbuilding at North American Shipbuilding as a Naval Architect on Edison Chouest Offshore vessels for almost 1 year.   Test Engineer August 1988 – April 1992 Newport News Shipbuilding Newport News, VA Marine Manufacturing & Services ·         Test Engineer on Hull and Auxiliary systems on SSN688 Class submarines.   Naval Architect June 1986 – June 1988 JJH Inc.
