At Classic Coil, decreased in-house scrap-increased quality from 68% to 100%,and on time deliveries from 75%to 98%-100% retrained production workers to increase productvity. Established First Pc.,in-process,and final inspection,for all depts.created dock to stock procedure for all vendors.
AT Norgren retrained the deburring dept operators which increased daily productivity from 3,000-4,000 pcs per day to 6,000 to 8,000 pcs per day with less people. Increased workers interest in product by involving them in finding better/safer ways to Deburr parts.
