designed, coded, tested a new OS device driver before the new hardware was available by writting a hardware emulator for the new hardware and testing on that, so that the OS worked the first time the hardware became available, save 618 man hours on a project that was bid at 700 man hours and automated it for the future, recovered 500 lines of code from a tape created on a mainframe that no longer exists. saved 24 man hours and the code did not have to be typed in by hand, solved a multithreading problem in a Reuters news feed that no one else could solveCompanies I like:
