Haley Veterans Hospital 7/2008 - 2/2011 Tampa, Florida US Salary: 41,000 USD Per Year Hours per week: 40 Personnel Security Assistant Independently working as the Personnel Security Assistant along side the Personnel Security Specialist in the Human Resources Service of the James A. Haley VA Medical Center where we support the needs of nearly 4900 employees. We assure that all employees/appointees have an appropriate security/suitability clearance that commensurate with their assignment. The work assignments are involving work of a very confidential and highly sensitive nature. My work as the assistant centers around assisting the specialist in determining appropriate background information, collecting and tracking of data, completion of reports, maintaining databases, scanning , renaming documents, releasing investigations to OPM and follow-up on various security related matters.
