I am a Bilingual RN graduated in Spain in 1983 as the first generation of University graduated nurses, with a GPA of 3.8. I obtained my CA RN license in 1990 and AZ RN license in 2005. I have worked since 1983 in different specialties such as Nephrology Dialysis, Geriatrics, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Hospice, and Medical Chart Reviewing in different capacities such as staff Nurse, Team Leader, office assistance, teacher, and translator and at different settings such as clinics, hospitals, homes and class rooms. I have been exposed over the years to different cultures and visited several countries. I have taken classes over the years in Art, English and Statistics as well as basic computer applications in local Colleges as well as courses on line. I like order and time management, work that keeps me centered and focused. I have an introspective and reflective nature even though I understand the importance of team collaboration. I value greatly preventive medicine and measures that keeps a work environment clean and organized. Keeping motivated is an important factor in my performance, I like to study independently and participate in nursing forums. I like to work under clear guidelines, I am conscientious. I like a good shared smile at the end of the day and the feeling of accomplishment. I learn to look at patients as I look at myself, human beings undergoing changes, able to experience fear, joy, uncertainty, anger, hope, love, gratitude when life brings new experiences. Professionally I like to know where I am going, what are my goals. At this time my goal is to find a Registered Nurse position in a well-established Organization, Company or Hospital where I can use my qualifications or skills, grow in maturity as a professional, be a positive and advantageous asset and where I can take advantage of learning opportunities to improve myself.
