March 9th, 2015 Dear Hiring Manager, I am an individual seeking a challenging accounting position because my years of experience working with financial statements, general ledger, A/P, A/R, cash flow, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, month end and year end close. I have set up modules working with Cash/Budget tools and I have set up modules for fixed assets depreciation schedules on excel for tax purposes. I have worked closely with banking institutions negotiating bank rates for lines of credit band loan rates. I also have 15 years’ experience working with payroll and payroll taxes, 401k. I several years working with employees as a go to Human Recourses point of contact working with setting up new hires and staff reviews and workers comp. I enjoy working with different accounting software and I will always look to improve implementation to any system. Working in the finance area has enhanced my abilities to be analytical, detailed and goal minded. I am a person with integrity and I believe working as a team player and being an effective communicator to achieve proactive procedures to complete any tasks. I welcome tasks that are challenging and make my decisions with integrity and exploring all areas and options before presenting solutions. I have experience QuickBooks, SAP, AS400, Great Plains, Excel, Outlook and Word.
