  • Started as a design service provider as a part of Wool research Association. Developed and executed original designs, repeats and colorings for woven and printed furnishing fabrics. Created artwork for the line and worked with technical staff and sales people in the development of custom projects for their clients. Worked on the apparel projects. Created original ideas for corporate brands and worked on coloration, materials and presentations. Mill work. Traveled to mills to review strike-offs and make appropriate corrections. Computer generated different scale designs and boards.

  • Worked extensively with the CAD for textiles serving their clients (manufacturers and end users) in the development and execution of custom designs according to the trend specifications. Attentive to clients' needs and wishes. Created original designs and color concepts for Raymond India home furnishing lines for local and export markets in USA and Europe. Many were displayed at Heimtextile trade fair in Frankfurt. Created original designs and color concepts for Raymond India’s apparel clients. Designed for jacquard and dobby woven fabrics, created repeat patterns for printed textiles. Designed for different home textile qualities: automotives, upholstery, curtains and contract furnishing textiles in variety of natural and synthetic yarns. Computer generated and hand-painted renderings in scale. Variety of designs: traditional to contemporary, simple ideas to extremely intricate patterns. Taught CAD designing to the textile students and industry professionals by conducting courses and workshops.

  • Created original designs, repeats and colorings on CAD (SOPHIS). Developed collections of coordinating designs. Assisted senior designer in the concepts, development and execution of designs in a timely manner. Worked from documents on occasion.
