Multimedia and Network Engineer
My interest areas include Computer Networks and Multimedia (Image & Video Compression) and with the help of the different algorithm techniques adding more understanding of the network and various Multimedia techniques and applications. I have also designed RICER ( Receiver Initiated Cycled Receiver ) application on SunSPOT in J2ME and also developed projects of Multimedia in Java, for instance, code for video display and conversion from Standard Definition to High Definition and compression of Images using Discrete Cosine Transform based codec and also simulated a sequential, progressive using spectral and successive bit approximation display. I have designed socket programming and also distributed operating system using multithreading in C. Developed a project involving classification of audio - video contents in order to distinguish among various types of videos stored in a database.
