I have over 25 years of experience working many different positions in the television industry. At C-SPAN, I was the Senior Technician for Video Editing. In this position, I supervised and trained other technicians as well as played a role in building and designing several edit bays. . Currently, I work at Al-Jazeera English as a MCR – Ingest technician. AJE is a HDPAL station that has provided an opportunity for me to become well-versed with the latest digital programs and standards. I have taken all levels of Avid Training from 101/110 to 310 and am just as familiar with Sorenson and other compression video programs.
