  • Sales support for key users in the Decatur area including ADM, Caterpillar, Tate&Lyle, International Paper and IBC Description Working for an electrical distributor in the Decatur area, was Inside Sales Support for key industrial accounts including Caterpillar, ADM, Tate & Lyle, Grain Systems and International Paper. Duties included serving these accounts by supplying quotes, process orders, resolve invoicing issues and conduct regular follow-up with customer base. Responsibility also included being backup counter sales person. This involved dealing with walk-in customers, assisting them with product selection, pulling inventory and processing orders. Accomplishment: Streamlined Grain System pushbutton warehouse inventory to reduce inventory errors and help process orders quicker and more efficiently. This resulted in over $35,000 cost savings in man-hours and product. With input from branch manager, reorganized inventory to a more logical layout. This resulted in more efficient pulling of product for customer sales. Instrumental in implementing contractor customer lunches during the winter months for increased visibility and product overviews.
