  • • Administered a $10 million federal grant program. • Chaired annual grant proposal committee that awarded $7 million over a 3 year period. • Acted as spokesperson for organization on several occasions in print and local media. • Developed wireframe and created and maintained content on two alternative fuel/renewable energy web sites. • Organized an annual conference (Advancing the Choice) on alternative fuel vehicles. Average attendance is 200 people, including private, public and government fleet owners, environmental groups and early adapters. • Created and made presentations to various organizations and civic groups regarding alternative fuel advancements and current / future options designed for consumers. • Created quarterly newsletter distributed nationwide. • Acted as liaison between grant program and local/state/federal government agencies. • Wrote successful grant proposals based on research conducted on various topics via the internet. • Served as representative on various committees, including Congressman Steve Israel’s Next Generation Energy Security Task Force. • Developed a five-part seminar series for the alternative fuel vehicle market on Long Island. Series expanded total market size and increased our market share.
