  • As an Account Manager I am responsible for new business development and the service of multiple clients gauging from financial institutions to engineering and manufacturing. I prospect and solicit to Human Resource departments to organize and manage recruitment advertising strategies. I assisted clients in ad placement, strategic planning and special advertising projects in a multi-media environment. Maintain client relationships on a daily bases. Negotiate agreements, develop, implement, manage, and initiate discussions and sales with media. I would also attend social networking events, job fairs, walk-in visits and cold call to generate new prospect leads and develop new business.

  • My main duties as an Account Manager were to hunt and capture new business and sell recruitment print advertising. Not only was I responsible for selling new business, I also maintained and managed accounts for clients by up selling and providing analysis of advertising effectiveness. I was responsible for client success in filling all recruitment needs. By consulting with my clients rather than selling, I was able to gain their trust in my product and me. I obtained pertinent information concerning clients and prospects past and current advertising for use in sales presentation. I also prepared promotional plans and literature for proposals to point out advantages of my publication. I would draw up contracts covering arrangements for there advertising campaign, which included ad size, scheduled run dates, discounts, internet postings, and ad design.
