  • As entrepreneur, provided executive leadership for couture bridal salon. Responsibilities included analyzing market trends and identifying major sales opportunities for strategic planning and buying of all inventory. Developed and executed all advertising and marketing plans through the creation of promotional materials including the company’s website. Utilized merchandising talents through visual displays, including window design to promote the stores upscale image. Created annual, quarterly and monthly sales forecasts and plans for distribution to all sales team members. Directed all store operations including staffing, training and performance evaluations for all positions. Achieved extraordinary market share through the development of exclusive vendor relationships. Design responsibilities encompassed the creation, sourcing and pricing of a private label collection sold exclusively at this location. Responsible for the execution, placement and fulfillment of all customer orders, verifying product quality and order specifications. Worked directly with clients to resolve service issues and conflicts.

  • Responsible for complete operation and performance of Alterations Workroom for couture bridal designer. Interfaced directly with bridal clients, notifying them of merchandise delivery then scheduling and organizing appointments for the fitting and alterations process. Directed and supervised a multilingual alterations workroom consisting of 28 seamstresses and 6 fitters. Monitored operational performance of workroom: staffing, payroll, performance evaluations and acting as liaison between workroom and retail store. Responsible for generating and maintaining detailed reports of order status and delivery on a weekly and monthly basis.

Garden State Land


  • Responsible for complete operation and performance of Sales Office for new home construction builder. Directed the entire sales transaction: deposit receipt, land sale, site approvals, home design and contract negotiations with buyer’s attorneys. Interfaced directly with homeowners for interior and exterior selections of standards and upgrades. Reviewed blueprints with all subcontractors and placed materials orders. Developed and cultivated relationships with site managers, assuring a smooth transition between plans and actual construction, acting as liaison between subcontractors and the homeowner. Developed advertising and promotional materials specific to site location. Directly handled the resolution of all customer complaints and homeowner service calls.
