Developed Varian customer LC/MS applications method that resulted in multiple instrument sales. As part of responsibilities as an LC/MS specialist at Varian, tackled the difficult analysis that had eluded competitors and this resulted in the $450k sale to a highly prestigious multi-billion dollar agricultural chemical company. Installed method and administered hands-on training after the sale. Revised over 30 lapsed Lilly training courses, eliminating FDA non-compliance threat. Training surrounding laboratory quality control for manufacturing was outdated. Failure to have good manufacturing practices (GMP) would cause FDA violations and shut down production. Evaluated and completely rewrote the training modules to meet critical audit deadline in record time. Earned corporate Making Medicine Award for delivering a 100% compliant system. Salvaged critical Waters international customer installation through hands-on training. Argentine company ordered large Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometer unit during client building remodel. Installation was delayed for a year. Selected to install and train users when the building was ready. Installed equipment and provided client training. Recognized for completing the contract for a system many thought would never meet specifications. Built Analytical Solutions training information system that reduced expenses 50%. Startup company had no standardization of training products. Caused confusion in the market and the company. Evaluated training products and determined market needs. Designed and implemented customized training package for Analytical Solutions customers that allowed companies to select predetermined modular training packages. Increased Finnigan international training attendance by 30%. Training Institute experienced low international student attendance. Travelled to Italy, Germany and Switzerland to deliver self-developed marketing packages that clearly explained training opportunities.
