PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AMERICAN AXLE AND MANUFACTURING. INC. Detroit, MI 1994 – 2008 Tier one automotive supplier of driveline and drive train systems: $3.2 billion sales. Senior Engineer, Capacity and Capital Planning 2006 – 2008 Engineer responsible for the Manpower requirements, Capacity and Capital Planning within the corporation. • Chaired the “Make or Buy” committee which determined the most cost effective locations to produce required components for customer demands. • Developed and managed the five year manpower requirements for all corporate locations. Reducing labor in high cost locations by more than 50% without any negative impact to customer delivery schedules. • Relocated and refurbished capital equipment from under utilized locations.
