Much of my experience has been hybrid in nature with a mix of project management, technical development & support, and client services. It has always been my belief that today�s worker needs to be able to understand a certain level of the mechanics of other areas outside of their own. During my tenure at McGraw-Hill, my function and purpose within the Project Management and Implementation team was to understand various state assessment data and their relationships to other data points by communicating with all stakeholders at all levels. By doing this I am able to create requirements documentation used by quality assurance and development teams to create reports and study guides for the client that meets scope and schedule. It is only through these collaborative efforts that we understand what the client needs and discover any limitations that may affect the desired outcome. During my time with Thomson Financial as Manager of Database Conversions my ability to readily communicate with clients, account managers, sales, and technical operations employed my composite abilities and which were ideally suited for managing, analyzing, and executing the conversion and migration of legacy customer relationship management (CRM) databases of Investor Relations departments to Thomson�s Web based database platforms. Along with effective communication also comes the need to learn and use a variety of applications which I have listed in my r�sum�. However, I have always been open to becoming educated in whatever is needed to successfully accomplish the task at hand even if it is outside of the standard. After all, it is a changing world and new things are created everyday that can assist in achieving the goals at hand. In conclusion, a strong, professional working relationship and openness to understanding various and sometimes conflicting ideals has been key to fulfilling my goals as well as the company�s. My r�sum� should provide additional examples that demonstrate my strength in a variety of areas such as project management, account management, process management, hardware and software testing and troubleshooting, Web design and usability, individual and group training, and overall problem resolution.
