CollapseAccomplishments

Highlights:

I developed a power marketing trading platform at the our Energy Department, which brings in millions of dollars of profit per year. This was done by using my process engineering skills to develop a model which predicts co-generation performance and steam and electric output. This model is used daily for scheduling and determining steam and electric balances for power sales and for future major expansions. I am maintaining 100% Compliance to NERC standards. Successfully upgraded the gas turbine fleet with new rotors and turbines and rewound generators, within budget and on schedule, making the aging fleet more reliable and reducing down time. Also helped the Plant interconnect new generation to the power grid.

Companies I like:

Merck, Honeywell, Air Liquide, Pfizer, and BASF

These project are to improve the reliability, efficiency and profitability of the unit. Currently process of integrating 200 MW solar and 150 MW Wind project to this large combine cycle co-generation unit electrical grid. This includes power flow studies, steam and electric balances, system controls and emergency condition planning. I also am responsible for maintaining compliance of this Utility Plant to NERC Standards and Balancing Authority Protocols and for testing these unit to these standards. In addition, I am also responsible for preparing operating procedures, training plans, budgets, long range planning, and performance reviews.
