Highlights:

Coordinated and conducted Terminal Facility annual physical security surveys, noting condition and workability of all equipment, devices and systems, deficiencies noted and recommendations for risk reduction and repairs or upgrades to the Chief of Police and Security VP.  Prime Advisor to Chief of Port Police and VP of Security on general physical security / personnel & property safety issues for 7 major Ocean Port Terminals, responsible for over $7B in export / import economy health of the Southeast US.  Earned highest “Exceeds Expectations” evaluation level in nine of 12 total categories on 2014 and 2015 annual performance reviews, with a 2.73 score overall, out of 3.0 possible (available on request).  Recommended for & received the SC Ports’ “Superior Employee Performance Recognition” Incentive Award (2012 to 2015).  Reduced Breaches of Security by over 70% in first full year as FSO, by re-prioritizing daily security perimeter zone checks by officers, entry access control procedure modifications and communicating clear expectations.  Active member & contributor on the Charleston Area Maritime Security Committee (AMSC) and the regional Emergency Management Coordination Committee (EMCC), actively engaged in anti-terrorism working group mission assurance / facility protection, Concept of Exercise planning and After Action Report writing.  I developed a Concept of Exercise (COE) and for and directed seven (7) annual anti-terrorism exercises requiring all eight SC Port Terminals, spread over 60 miles, to simultaneously complete their check-offs, attain and report Maritime Security / FP Level One, as a contingent preparedness (ordered by US Coast Guard) or response (self-initiated after an incident) action, dependent upon the Exercise.
