Raised over 1 million from private funders & foundations to finance the Center; 3. Won precedent setting cases; 4. Conducted cutting edge research on issues affecting equality; 5. Authored and had passed key legislation in NYS which changed the topography of rights for women and children in abusive families; 6. Developed a state-wide network which included state actors, bench, bar, members of diverse communities; 7.
