In much the same manner IT Program Management Office (PMO) Established the first centralized IT Program Management Office in the Bank's history. Hired in response to Federal Reserve audit findings regarding Program/Project Management. * Designed and staffed the PMO and Program Management delivery organizational structure and framework. * Developed and deployed Fifth Third 'grass roots' Project Life Cycle (PLC) consisting of the new standard methods, processes, templates and tools guided by COBIT and FFIEC standards. * Established the program governance structure and oversight for PMO and decentralized program execution. * Established an Enterprise Program Management team to lead the more complex, high-risk programs, as well as to support decentralized program execution. * Established formal Portfolio, Resource and Program Management. Instantiated the Methods and Tools, Business Analytics and Quality Assurance disciplines guiding the execution of the Bank's programs. * Created Organization Change Management and Communication strategy to maximize adoption. * Built intimate partnerships with Retail, Consumer, Commercial, Treasury and Mortgage businesses. * Established mentoring and guidance programs reaching all areas of the 1200+ FTE IT organization. * Architected of the PMO 12/24/36-month 'roadmap' for the creation and maturation of the PMO. * Procured and deployed Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software that embedded the new PLC ensuring consistency of use across the organization and a single system of record for all attendant artifacts. * Presented PMO strategy, roadmap and status to Federal Reserve Bank IT Auditors, receiving a 'Satisfactory' rating for the PMO function. * Liaison to the Risk and Audit functions managing PM related findings, both from internal and external audits. * Developed education program for PMO disciplines resulting in Fifth Third and PMI Certifications. * Initiated the Fifth Third PM Community where best practices, innovation and common goals would flourish. as the PMO established the Strategic Sourcing COE consisting of the organization design methods standards and tools all on behalf of the Chief Sourcing Officer. Developed the Sourcing Life Cycle (SLC) policies procedures templates and tools for the corporation.
