I am a quick learner and great team player with good communication skills, energetic, strong problem solving and analytical skills. I have a theoretical background in solid mechanics, especially in FEA & design, and stress analysis. Three years working at the Structural & Multidisciplinary Optimization lab. of University of Florida and one and a half years in the Center for Advanced Composites of University of Florida have enabled me to gain invaluable experience in finite element analysis, development of finite element codes, fracture mechanics analysis, and structure design and optimization.What distinguishes me from others is my solid and compressive knowledge on how FEA software works since I have been working on a finite element formulation of shell structure for my master degree. It has provided me with confidence of problem modeling and solving and learning other FEA software. I had been an structural FEA engineer in Caterpillar Inc. for a year. I performed structure analysis using ABAQUS, IDEAS, NASTRAN including static G-Load analysis, modal analysis, transient response analysis, contact based non-linear bolted joint analysis, and welded joint fatigue life evaluation. In addition to substantial technical skills and entensive experience of structural analysis, I have proficient knowledge of machine design. My Bachelor degree was majored in Machine Design. My thesis topic was designing a disk flying shear. Also, I had two year experience as a Machine Design Engineer. I mastered CAD and joined a big project--design and aggregate of H-beam rolling mill for Laiwu General Iron and Steel Works. We also designed the rolling line for a plant in Taiyuan, China. Besides, I got a lot of chances to visit some big steel & iron company, Foundry, Aluminium Corporation, which enabled me to expand my knowledge of various equipments. For example, during a social practice or internship at Tai�an Engineering Machine Corporation, my classmate and I solved the problem of boom hoist jointing distortion by rearranging the welding process.
