QUALIFICATIONS I have the equivalent of an associates degree in electronics from military training. This includes electrical and electronic theory, computer logic, miniature component repair, training specific to the radar system I was assigned to, and the use of various test equipment such as volt meters, amp meters, and oscilloscopes. I also have taken Allen Bradley SLC 500 classes, and have hands on experience in programming SLC 500's, Contrologix and Compactlogix 5000, and Omron PLC's. I also have training in motors, and motor controls. I have fabrication, assembly, and troubleshooting experience with many components common to industrial automation, both electrical and mechanical. Among these are: panel building 480 volts ac and lower, transformers, AC and DC motors, frequency drives, gear reducers, clutch / brakes, conveyor systems, pneumatic and hydraulic controls and actuators, vision systems, discreet and analog sensors and controls, ink jet systems, vacuum pumps and vacuum transport systems, industrial roasters and coffee grinders, VFFS packaging equipment, labelers, label printers, case packers and hot melt glue systems, stretch wrap systems, mechanical and hydraulic presses, sheet metal roll formers, and ovens. I am able to fabricate and rebuild machine components to OEM or better tolerances and have experience using most shop equipment such as mills, lathes, presses, and welders. I can also repair virtually all facility components, such as drywall, doors, ceilings and windows, to professional standards.
