Daily Duties at Dalfort Services:

Started as mechanic and then a lead, then a supervisor. While a mechanic I built and installed part per prints and repair manuals. We also over hauled doors, Flaps, Flight Controls and any parts that could be removed form the aircraft. Type aircraft was 727, 737, DC-8 and DC-9 mainly. I also did most of the fiberglass repair, weight and balance, tube bending. Component incoming inspection. As lead and supervisor I inspected work and parts for proper documentation, incoming parts to be bid on for repaired or overhauled then assigned them to be worked when approved. I assigned work and ordered parts. Trained subordinates. Approved times and days off for my shift. I ran the PMA (Parts Manufacturing Authorization) for the company.
