Daily Duties at Bosch Rexroth Corporation:
Scheduling the assembly of components based on customer specific requirements using domestic and internationally purchased material, maintaining adequate material in stock to meet and fulfill MRP generated demands in SAP, converting planned orders into production orders, selecting and issuing materials for production orders, as needed. Communication with Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, and Program Management to ensure customer orders are available in a timely manner and on schedule with customer requirements Material purchases of $100 to $500 million annually company wide, exercising independent judgment to select suppliers based on delivery schedule, quality, previous experience, time constraints and profitability expectations. Interacting with Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing and overseas suppliers to meet corporate delivery and profitability objectives, while ensuring correct pricing and timely availability of materials according to demands set by the manufacturing plan and spare-part sales. Issuing and/or amending purchase orders to support product demands, effectively communicate with multi-level personnel, as well as, vendors. Assist in preparation of requests for capital expenditure paperwork, develop long term strategies for the purchase of commodities and systems, and monitor supplier performance, responsible for documented procedures to ensure that purchased product conforms to customer specified requirements.
