COVER LETTER: Dear Mike, On behalf of Brinderson LP, a subsidiary of Aegion Corporation, I am pleased to extend to you an offer of employment for the position of Project Manager, based in our Midland, TX office and reporting to Robert Martinez, General Manager. Your employment status will be as a regular, full time, exempt employee. Your employment is expected to begin on March 2, 2015. We are delighted to confirm this offer and are confident that with your knowledge, experience, and skills, you will make significant contributions to our organization. As a full-time employee, you will receive the following: * Compensation: A starting hourly base rate of USD $65.00, less applicable taxes and withholdings to be calculated per the current weekly payroll cycle. Net pay will be less any deductions required by law or authorized by you. Salary reviews may be conducted periodically, subject to the Company's compensation policies. Thursday is the regularly scheduled pay day and may change based on holidays and other bank closure dates. * Paid Time Off (PTO): Beginning with your first day of employment, you will begin to accrue 144 hours Paid Time Off per year (accrual of 2.76 hours per week). The maximum allowable PTO accrual is 300 hours. * Work Schedule: Your work schedule will conform to the office or jobsite location to which you are assigned, and will be agreed upon by you and your supervisor. During the course of your employment, your job duties, hours, and/or work location may change from your initial assignment. * Corporate Housing: You will have the use of the company apartment in Midland, TX until May 31st 2015 as previously agreed upon with William McElroy and honored by Robert Martinez, which you will expense each month. After May 31st 2015 you will be reimbursed up to $1700/month for the remaining 3 months. * Benefits: Upon employment with Aegion Corporation, you will be eligible to participate in the following Company Benefits if elected: Employee and Dependent Group Health Plan Employee and Dependent Life Insurance Employee Accident, Short and Long-term Disability plans and 401K plan. Other employee benefits include accrued vacation, some paid holidays, flexible spending accounts, educational assistance and employee assistance programs. Please see the attached document for a detailed overview of your benefits. Benefits may change from year to year at the discretion of the Company. Note: Enrollment forms must be received within 30 days of eligibility or you may not be able to participate in the Company's benefit plan until the next open enrollment period. Your employment is contingent upon the following: Aegion Corporation and its subsidiaries have established a policy of a drug-free work environment therefore, this offer is contingent upon your successful completion of a drug screen test prior to employment. This offer is also contingent upon a satisfactory criminal background check, education and employment history, and/or motor vehicle report. In accordance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, you will be required to complete the INS form I-9 and provide appropriate identification within 3 days of your start date in order to identify your eligibility to be employed in the U.S. This offer is contingent upon compliance with Form I-9 completion timelines and confirmation of employment authorization by E-Verify.
